The Young Netballer Award is presented to a young netball athlete for outstanding performance. Nominations are made internally by the Kent Academy coaches, selecting a player that has been part of the Kent Netball Academies.

Tami was selected for the London Pulse U19 squad this year, having previously risen through the Kent Academies, and nailed down a starting 7 position immediately. Thanks to some phenomenal performances, she was then selected as a reserve for the England U18 squad who participated in the Commonwealth Youth Games in Trinidad & Tobago.

At the end of the season, following the NPL tournament, she was then selected as a full member of the England Netball Roses Academy and despite still being only 17, she was named as a reserve for the England U21s to compete at the Netball Europe Championships.

All in all a well deserved accolade for this humble and hard working young superstar!
